The sitter was the Great Great Grandmother to Dame Edith Sitwell and certainly does bear a familial likeness. 12. 5 by 9. 5 cms.
This drawing comes from an album of Lock's drawings sold by the descendants of the Reverend William Gilpin 1724-1804 via Bonhams 10th April 2013
