VR Design Trota Superba 1/0 Reel 2 3/4" (Brook and Brown)A VR Design (Vlad Rachenko) Trota Superba fly reel in 1 0 size, 2 3 4" diameter and with a neutral bias. Mint unused condition. Serial #39. Handsome raised pillar design with a dark olive anodized frame and brass foot with stainless pillars. Black handle with a polished handle. As with many of Vlad's other classic models this one has knurling on the spool edge which allows for light palming. Vlad made these for a collaboration with Gray Wolf rods

This is a fully rotating vise and in axis and parallel to the hook shank

The grip is original  and has a tiny bit of erosion

hollow-built bamboo rod - 8'3" (252cm) 2/2 for a WF4 line

mostly due to edge wear

Original zippered case and box included

mostly some grip soiling

May rose wraps

though it is possible the repaired tip may have also been re-wrapped

The foot is 3 1/2" in length
