toasty oak and plenty of sweet tannin in its full-bodied
the sauvage and a combination of super-fresh red and dark currant scents
firm and beautifully balanced finale
grace and staying power
but with some Cabernet Franc (rarely seen in the Médoc these years) as well as Merlot and Petit Verdot
and flavor dimension not tasting heavy
this is not especially dense but it is both very complex and well-balanced
A brooding and intensely earthy nose is comprised by notes of both red and dark berries that are trimmed in soft spice and sauvage hints
This is a tough wine
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Helms is sensational
The supple and relatively forward medium weight flavors possess an appealing sense of energy
although the tiny production means quantities are extremely limited
