Charlton 8550C Offshore Spool - LHWA spare Offshore spool for a Charlton 8550C fly reel. LHW. Mint, unused condition. A feat of modern engineering, this spool comes with fins machined into the backside of the spool to help dissipate heat during big runs. Comes with its original green cordura reel case.
The base of teh seat is flared cork and the same composite material is used for a base plate
The reel is packed in a zippered leather pouch with the "ATH Design" logo stamped on it
The ivory handle is in fine condition and spins freely
Up-locking black aluminum reel seat with a 1 1/2" cork fighting butt
Full intermediates in red

The ferrule fit is excellent
especially on many of the small to medium-sized salmon rivers that I often fished
