Sam Carlson "Four" Bamboo Fly Rod 6'6" 2/2 #4A nice Sam Carlson "Four" bamboo fly rod, 6'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial number #6212 4652, the twelfth rod made in 1962. Four strip quad construction. It weighs 3. 3 ounces on my scale. A crisp fast action. The rod has seen some moderate use with some brassing inside the snake guides and some cosmetic casting cracks at the ferrule wraps. Lightly flamed cane. The original owner's name is inscribed on the rod. Brown main wraps
