Paul Hermann Salmon Reel 3 3/16" LHWA beautiful Paul Hermann salmon reel, 3 3 16" in diameter and set up for LHW. This reel is in its original, unused condition. Black anodized side plates with silver rims, spool, crank, pillars, and foot. "P Hermann, Maker" and "180" stamped into the underside next to the foot. I believe that Dr. Hermann made around 200 of these reels in his lifetime and the quality of his work needs no introduction. Boasting a Bogdan style drag, Dr. Hermann made these

Three-up node pattern done in a very light tan (almost transparent) wraps with darker tan at the edges
however the nicely varnished reel seat is butternut wood done with a rounded flat for the reel foot
and ferrules have classic "Pewter"oxidation
