Hardy Perfect 3 7/8" Fly ReelFor sale here is a 3 7 8" Hardy Perfect fly reel from the pre WWII era (made in the 1920s). The reel is in excellent overall condition. Agate line guide with some micro cracks. The original smooth brass reel foot is full length. No chips, cracks, or line grooves. Mechanically excellent fit.

In person the reel appears platinum as opposed to the psychedelic coloration shown here in the photos
The varnished cap and ring seat is Mahogany flatted for the reel foot and steps up to act as the rear cork check

This rod is mint with no brassing to the inside of the guides

The snake guides show very little wear
