The original is an Oakeshott type XVIIIa and is exhibited in the Royal Armouries in Leeds. This replica has a full tang with a riveted pommel. The blade is forged from spring steel tempered to a Rockwell hardness of approx. 4951 HRC, the edge and tip are blunt, and the sword is well suited to light sword fighting, sparring and re enactment.
