Femme Nue De DosA gentle early 20th century study of a nude female from behind. She looks to her right with cheeks slightly flushed as her back twists to create a beautiful curve. On the reverse on the board, a label refers to the Parisian art store of Gustave Sennelier. This was opened in 1887 and was a popular destination for many leading painters, such as Czanne, Gauguin and Van Gogh. Clearly the artist that created this piece was in very good company indeed. The
