Feurer Brothers Taurus Reel 3 7/8"A Feurer Brothers Taurus model fly reel, approximately 3 7 8" in diameter, and adjustable for right or left hand wind with a dial on the spool. It weighs 12. 6 ounces on my scale. Good original condition with some wear on the frame edge and frame though relatively minor. There is some residue on the underside of the foot from a fly line sticker. Gray frame with a chrome line guard in either direction. The reel comes in an unoriginal neoprene pouch for

He filled in an exposed glue line seam in the butt section and re-varnished that section

Overall this is a nice example of Payne's salmon models

The box measures 8" x 4 3/4" x 1 1/4"

this tip has also lost its tip wraps though the tip-top remains secure
