Hardy Kenya Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 3/2 #6/7A rare Hardy Palakona "Kenya" bamboo fly rod, 8', 3 piece, 2 tip, and while there is no line weight listed I'd try it with a #6 or #7. Serial "E84758" which dates the rod to approximately 1952. This is a scarce model, I've only seen a small handful of them over the years. The rod weighs 5. 1 ounces on my scale. Medium action, a bit faster than what I've normally found from older Hardy rods. Very good condition with some cosmetic wear that you'd expect

The nickel silver reel foot is full length

The diameter of the reel is 2 1/8" and the pillar width is 1 1/16"

A nice Bogdan model 0 salmon reel
